On behalf of a well-established organisation, Manpower is looking for a Treasury Officer to join a structured and professional finance team.

Responsibilities:



  • Maintain precise records of all financial inflows and outflows across different entities.
  • Review and allocate incoming payments to ensure accurate accounting entries.
  • Prepare a daily overview of bank transactions per entity, including intercompany balances.
  • Record cheque payments and debit transactions (both domestic and international) in the accounting system.
  • Register all bank credits, cash receipts, and deposits on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that all cash and cheque collections are deposited in full according to scheduled timelines.
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations to verify accuracy of physical balances.
  • Carry out monthly bank reconciliations to confirm the correctness of financial records.
  • Organise and file financial documentation to maintain a clear audit trail.
  • Process approved cash disbursements and ensure all supporting documentation is properly completed.
  • Prepare and submit bank-related documentation, including guarantees and renewals.
  • Handle documentation related to financing arrangements such as factoring facilities.



Requirements:



  • At least one year of experience in a treasury or finance-related role.
  • High level of accuracy and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Good communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Fluency in both Maltese and English, written and spoken.
  • ECDL certification with strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • An Ordinary Level qualification in Accounts will be considered an asset
