Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Accounts Administrator/Accounting Clerk to join our client's team.

We are currently seeking a motivated and organised Accounts Administrator / Accounting Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will form part of our accounting team and will be responsible for supporting the accounting and administrative functions relating to a portfolio of client companies.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are pursuing a career in accounting and wish to gain practical experience within a professional office environment.


Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting and administrative tasks, including:

  • Processing day-to-day accounting transactions for client companies.
  • Carrying out bank reconciliations and ensuring that records are maintained accurately.
  • Preparing reconciliation reports and supporting documentation where required.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
  • Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns and tax-related filings.
  • Maintaining and managing a portfolio of client companies, including supporting compliance-related functions and other administrative duties associated with the companies.
  • Assisting with communication and coordination with clients where necessary to ensure that information and documentation are obtained in a timely manner.



Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities and qualifications:

  • A self-motivated individual who is able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and multitasking skills, with close attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet established deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities
