Senior Payments Controls Officer

On behalf of our client we're looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive professional to help strengthen and support our payments operations. Working closely with the Payments Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring controls are effective, risks are managed, and daily payments run smoothly.

What you'll do:

• Monitor daily payments activity and key operational controls
• Identify operational risks, errors, and areas for improvement
• Support pay‑in/pay‑out processing, funding, and reconciliations
• Oversee settlements and fee reconciliations with payment providers
• Track KPIs, provider performance, chargebacks, and fraud trends
• Support audits, testing after system changes, and documentation
• Prepare clear reports and insights for management
