Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit an Engineering Estimator to strengthen technical operations. This mid-management role sits at the intersection of engineering, project execution, and customer communication with supporting the preparation of accurate quotations, coordinating workshop and field interventions, and ensuring professional delivery aligned with brand and compliance standards

Job Responsibilities
:

  • Prepare accurate quotations based on inspections and technical requirements.
  • Track daily work progress and allocate labour and material costs to projects.
  • Review project costings and support Accounts in preparing final invoices.
  • Conduct technical inspections to confirm scope, variations, and feasibility.
  • Create work schedules and keep customers updated on progress and changes.
  • Coordinate visits of overseas technicians, ensuring tools, parts, and access are ready.
  • Manage supplier relationships and source materials/services as per specifications.
  • Follow up on spare parts orders and warranty cases.
  • Prepare clear technical reports and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Report budgets, KPIs, and compliance matters to the brands network team.
  • Carry out after‑sales audits and support continuous improvement actions.
  • Develop and improve work procedures for efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Draft and maintain customer contracts and maintenance agreements.
  • Support senior management with technical correspondence and operational planning

Requirements:

  • A recognized engineering degree (or closely related discipline) is required.
  • Proven experience and/or progression suitable for a mid-management position in an engineering, technical services, marine, industrial, or related environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; able to produce professional reports and customer-facing updates.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word and Microsoft Project confidence working with structured documentation and reporting.
  • Effective planner with strong time management skills; demonstrates attention to detail, reliability, efficiency, discretion, and flexibility in a fast-paced operational setting.
  • Willingness to support operational needs after workshop hours when required.
  • Experience in the marine industry and/or working within OEM/brand network standards and warranty processes.
  • Commercial marine and/or superyacht experience would be considered a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with classification society requirements and audit/compliance reporting.
