Job Description:

Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join our client's team. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance function through a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records and assisting with day-to-day operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The Accounts Clerk will also play a key role in maintaining client relationships, supporting credit control activities, and assisting during financial closing periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with daily accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and updating financial records
  • Performing daily cash counts and preparing collection reports
  • Supporting credit control activities, including chasing overdue payments and maintaining records
  • Liaising with banks and assisting with reconciliations and financial documentation
  • Assisting in month-end and year-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Maltese
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work both independently and in a team
