Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Senior Building Services Engineer – Mechanical to join our client's team. This role involves leading and coordinating the technical and commercial aspects of mechanical projects, ensuring efficient delivery in line with project specifications, timelines, and budgets. The selected candidate will play a key role in design development, cost estimation, procurement, and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple stakeholders, provide technical leadership, and contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices. The role is primarily office-based, with regular visits to project sites, client offices, and suppliers as required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead mechanical design development and review technical solutions for assigned projects
• Prepare and review drawings, cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure compliance
• Provide technical support to operations teams during project execution
• Act as the main technical contact for clients and support internal team coordination

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in mechanical building services engineering
• Strong knowledge of design, cost estimation, and project coordination
• Ability to analyse technical specifications and identify cost optimisation opportunities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders
• Leadership skills with experience mentoring junior engineers
