People, Risk & Compliance Specialist
Job Description:
Are you passionate about employment law, HR compliance, risk management, and corporate governance? We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People, Risk & Compliance Specialist to join a growing international business and play a key role in supporting people, compliance, and governance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage employment contracts and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with employment, immigration, and payroll regulations across various jurisdictions.
- Maintain compliance registers, policies, and corporate governance records.
- Coordinate and oversee monthly payroll processes with external providers.
- Support visa, work permit, relocation, and employee mobility matters.
- Review commercial agreements and identify potential legal or compliance risks.
- Assist with audits, due diligence exercises, GDPR compliance, and internal policy development.
- Liaise with external legal, payroll, and regulatory advisors.
- Prepare regular HR, payroll, risk, and compliance reports for senior management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Legal, Compliance, Risk, HR Compliance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of employment law, contracts, and compliance processes.
- Experience with payroll coordination and HR systems.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders across different jurisdictions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with immigration, visas, relocation, or international workforce administration will be considered an asset.
