Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit an Assistant Supervisor to join our client's team. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising the corrugator operations, ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the operational team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the corrugator team while ensuring compliance with company procedures and operational standards
• Ensure efficient machine setup, production planning, and coordination with different departments
• Monitor product quality, reduce waste levels, and take corrective action when required
• Support preventive maintenance activities, troubleshoot equipment issues, and enforce health & safety procedures
• Maintain accurate production records, training documentation, and operational reports

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role with a technical background
• Ability to lead, motivate, and train team members effectively
• Experience operating mechanical machinery and performing basic preventive maintenance
• Strong planning, resource allocation, and coordination skills
• Good command of English with strong attention to detail

Candidates with strong knowledge of Facer, Control Room, Take Off, Clamp Lifter, Boiler, Glue Kitchen, Baler, and Filtration systems will be considered an asset. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently while maintaining high operational and quality standards.
