Manpower Malta is seeking to recruit a Technical Sales Solutions Engineer (Mechanical) to join our client's team.

The selected candidate will coordinate the preparation of technical and commercial bids, from the initial assessment of client requirements through to the submission of complete tender documentation. This position combines mechanical engineering knowledge, solution design, costing, customer service, and commercial awareness.

The role focuses primarily on firefighting and fire compartmentation solutions, including sprinkler systems, gaseous fire suppression systems, and fire doors. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to deliver technically compliant, cost-effective, and commercially competitive solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Review client enquiries, tender specifications, budgets, and technical requirements to prepare accurate and competitive proposals.
• Design cost-effective firefighting and fire compartmentation solutions while applying value-engineering principles.
• Coordinate tender documentation, technical clarifications, costing activities, client approvals, and submission deadlines.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate project feasibility, technical conditions, and potential risks.
• Ensure solutions and internal processes comply with applicable regulations, company procedures, ISO standards, LPCB requirements, and quality expectations.

Key Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or a similar commercial engineering position.
• Previous experience with fire safety, fire protection, or security systems.
• Maltese engineering warrant, or currently working towards obtaining the warrant, is considered an advantage.
• Valid Maltese driving licence, with strong communication, problem-solving, commercial, and customer service skills.
