Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Process Technician to join our client's team.
The Process Technician plays a vital role in supporting production operations within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring process parameters, and ensuring that operations meet established quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. The role contributes directly to the efficiency, consistency, and safety of production processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production equipment to meet daily operational requirements.
- Ensure processes are carried out according to established specifications and standards.
- Monitor critical process parameters and perform routine quality checks.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness within the work area.
- Identify equipment issues and raise maintenance requests as required.
- Manage raw materials and inventory following FIFO principles.
- Identify process inefficiencies or waste and support corrective actions.
- Record and analyze production and process data.
- Adhere to health, safety, and 5S workplace standards.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and participate in training as required.
Requirements:
- A minimum MQF Level 4 qualification and/or previous experience in a similar role is desirable and will be considered an asset.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of production processes, equipment operation, and troubleshooting.
- High level of attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and food safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- Proficiency in computer use, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
