Job Description:

Manpower Malta is seeking a seasoned tax professional to spearhead the growth and direction of our clients' expanding Tax Advisory practice. This senior leadership position will play a pivotal role in shaping our service offerings, strengthening client relationships, and establishing the division as a trusted partner for sophisticated tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the Tax Advisory function, setting strategic goals and driving the long-term vision for the service line.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing tax advisory team, ensuring continuous technical upskilling and exceptional service standards.
  • Oversee the delivery of specialised tax advice across a wide client base, including corporate structures, multinational clients, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Provide guidance on complex tax issues involving FATCA, CRS, DAC, ATAD, Transfer Pricing, Pillar 2, and other evolving international and domestic tax frameworks.
  • Conduct in-depth technical research and convert findings into clear, commercially relevant solutions for clients.
  • Represent the tax practice by participating in industry events, technical panels, and business development engagements.
  • Design and refine internal tax methodologies, workflows, and advisory processes to ensure consistent quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities, prepare proposals, and engage in client pitching initiatives to support the firms growth strategy.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated advisory services.
  • Cultivate and manage strong client relationships, ensuring a proactive advisory approach and high client satisfaction.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory trends, market developments, and upcoming tax changes to support innovation and service expansion.

Candidate Profile

  • Fully qualified tax or accounting professional with a minimum of five years experience in a tax-focused environment.
  • A recognised tax qualification is preferred. Candidates without one must demonstrate strong technical expertise and a commitment to obtaining certification.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, managing a department, or developing a specialised service line.
  • Strong communicator with excellent leadership, presentation, and client engagement skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and drive business growth.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and business development tools, including CRM platforms.
  • Ambitious, commercially minded, and committed to ongoing professional development.
