HR Senior Executive

Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a HR Senior Executive to join our client's team.
The HR Senior Executive plays a key role in supporting the effective delivery of the HR function, ensuring alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the HR Senior Manager in the day-to-day running of the HR function, ensuring alignment with the Group's objectives;
- Take the lead on recruitment activities across all departments and overview the complete selection process: CV screening, interviewing, evaluation and processing;
- Establish and maintain relationships with Line Management to define job descriptions, validate candidate profiles and ensure recruitment needs are met;
- Actively headhunt and source candidates on LinkedIn and other platforms to attract top talent;
- Prepare and draft job offers for selected candidates and coordinate the onboarding process to ensure a smooth integration;
- Extract and analyse weekly and monthly recruitment reports to discuss with the HR Senior Manager;
- Coordinate and support training and development initiatives, including performance appraisals, setting of KPI and training needs assessments, while monitoring outcomes;
- Assist in drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation, compliance standards and best practices;
- Provide guidance and review the work of the HR Officer to ensure consistency and accuracy across HR processes;
- Review monthly payroll inputs prepared by the HR Officer, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance prior to HR Senior Manager approval;
- Handle employee meetings including interviews, probationary meetings, performance meetings and exit interviews, ensuring proper documentation is maintained;
- Be the main point of contact for employees regarding payroll and leave portal;
- Assist the HR Senior Manager on ongoing HR projects and initiatives;
- Analyse HR data, including turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, etc.;
- Recommend and support process improvements to enhance HR efficiency and service;
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment across HR processes.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, or a related field, or currently in the process of obtaining such qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a corporate or professional services environment.
- Good understanding of Maltese employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret and present HR data effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Shireburn software will be considered an asset.
